Founder of the iWiLL Campaign, Jamal Bonaparte; Co-founder of the MAPScholarship, Melonie Vanderpool, and Supa Cindy of the 99Jamz radio station sat down to discuss the matters of Black Excellence and the MAPScholarship (Multimedia Arts Performance Scholarship).
What ensued was a dive into just what brought the MAPScholarship to life and to the lives of thousands of young adults in the South Florida area.
Another topic of conversation was the joint effort to create the 1st annual Black Excellence Gala taking place on March 29th 2019. Designed to shed a spotlight on the artistic minds of our local communities, The Black Excellence Gala will be a catered event paired with live music, poetry, painters, art for raffle and silent auction, and more. It will be taking place at the Ambiance Banquet Hall in Miramar (see left) at 7pm and tickets can be purchased here.
